As promised, here are some pictures of the day I spent in Quillacollo with INFANTE. Good for some laughs I'd figure :)
In the trufi. As you can see, in Bolivia it doesnt matter how full a minibus is.. there is always space for one more.
The organizing team: Vivi, Maria del Carmen, myself and Marie-Sol.
First we played a game with balloons to get to know the families better.
Potatoes and eggs for breakfast...
After breakfast we started our Olympic games. First racing.. but with tied feet!
Rilma and her friend. They are both mothers from our center.
A Quechua-speaking mom with Yola, her child. She is a real brat..
The second station of our games was "Schubkarrenfahren".. las carretillas humanas! The kids loved it.
Glad I wasnt the one whose hands got trampled on..
Last station was egg racing. Well, except that we switched the eggs for little plastic balls.. it was for the better :p This is Jesus, trying to get his ball across the field.
I just liked this pic, even though I dont know the girl :D
In the afternoon it was chillout time for all families. The babies did puzzles..
and the older ones had fun in the pool. I didnt go in, btw. Looking at the picture, and knowing the common hygiene procedures in Bolivia, you may guess why.. ;)
